On your first visit to Sleek & Chic Dog Grooming, the groomer would like to get to know a little about your dog and your requirements for their groom. We will spend a short time discussing with you exactly what you would like, any health issues your dog may have, or if they are nervous about any particular things, to ensure we can give your dog the best treatment and cause them as little stress as possible during their groom.
The pricing are all FROM (start price) and there are many factors which determine the level of work and time that it will take to groom them. We're not always able to give an exact price beforehand but we can give you a rough price; as we need to assess each dog individually. These factors include but are not limited to; size/breed of your dog, coat condition, thickness and length of the coat and dog’s behaviour. If we're unable to give you an exact price before we start we will contact you before the end of the groom to let you know.
For any “shave offs” due to severe matting, we will require a consent form to be signed.
To ensure you and your dog are getting the best service possible, I will keep a record of any work carried out. If you'd like something changed or a different style from the last time, please let us know and we can accommodate your preferences and we will update our notes for future visits.

Puppy Intro
For puppies first time coming into a salon. This will ease them into the grooming process.

Puppy Groom
For puppies first full groom (this is after the puppy intro).

- Clipping/Scissoring (we can only shave with a comb attachment not a short blade until 6 months old)

NAIL CLIPPING, ANAL GLAND EXPRESSING & EAR HAIR REMOVAL
When your dog comes in for a bath or a groom; nail clipping, anal gland expressing and ear hair removal is complimentary to their service. We will always check and attempt your dogs nails but we ask if you'd like their anal glands expressed or their ear hair removed then please let us know on drop off. Please note these will only be done if your dog is ok having them done. If they become too stressed or aggressive we wont be able to complete these due to the safety and wellbeing of both your dog/s and our groomers.
Whilst they are complimentary to a bath or groom we do offer these services outside of their appointments too. They are £10 each. You can book these in (no long waiting times for these) and we can also take walk-ins too.
DE-MATTING
Sleek & Chic Dog Grooming will only attempt to remove matts for a maximum of 15 mins, then they get shaved out; as per the animal welfare act. If your dogs fur is really matted and we are unable to get a comb through it, then it will need to be clipped off. Trying to de-matt (longer than15 mins or excessively matted coats) will cause unnecessary pain to your dog and it will pull at their delicate skin underneath.
We will provide a consent form to sign for this and an aftercare guide for their skin. Leucillin antiseptic spray will be used on any hotspots on the skin or any abrasions on the skin that have been caused from the matting when clipped off.
HAPPY HOODIES
If your dog isn’t a fan of the dryer and it makes them nervous or scared, here at Sleek & Chic Dog Grooming we use Happy Hoodies. These are very expandable, soft and gentle compression bands that go around your Dog’s head and ears to muffle out the sound of the dryer and keep your dog calm.

EMMI PET TEETH CLEANING/DE-SCALING
2 of our groomers offer Emmi Pet teeth cleaning/de-scaling.
