About Us
Sleek & Chic Dog Grooming is based at 119 Park Crescent, Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan. Sleek & Chic originally opened and began grooming back in 2009 under the name 'CARE4PETS'. As the business grew we then moved into next door in 2014 opening the salon as we all know as 'Sleek & Chic Dog Grooming'. The business has been run for roughly 20 years. This year (Oct 2025) the previous owner retired and one of the groomers 'Katelyn' has taken over ownership. We've just had a massive refurbishment, with a change of logo and design but our name and address still remains the same. We have 4 groomers available and each one has been trained either by an official grooming training body or by way of an apprenticeship. You can be assured that your pet will receive a high standard of care and expertise.
We take on all breeds and all sizes. We work on an appointment system and we are sometimes booked up to 4 weeks in advance so please book your appointment as soon as you can to prevent your dog becoming overdue their groom and to avoid any disappointment.

Each team member brings their own strengths to our busy salon. If you find a groomer that you particularly like and would like to keep your dog with that preferred groomer then please let us know and we will ensure they groom your dog each time. On the other hand, if you'd like a different groomer to the one who groomed your dog last then just ask for someone different. We are never offended by this request as we all recognise each others strengths. Sometimes we may even suggest your dog go to another one of our groomers as they may be better suited to your dogs needs, etc. You can be assured that your dog will receive a high standard of care and expertise.
